THE PREAMP
The lightweight preamp gives you the possibility to fine tune the sound of your double bass.
The 5 frequencies you can modify:
Bass (60 Hz to 250 Hz)
Low Mids (250 Hz to 2 kHz)
High Mids (2 kHz to 4 kHz)
Presence (4 kHz to 6 kHz)
Brilliance (6 kHz to 16 kHz)
It has a very useful phase button, when you play in tricky circumstences. The sound waves, and the room’s nature can create funny situations for an amplified upright bass live. If very unlikely you experience some feedback, just push the Phase button, which turns the sound waves of your double bass and kills the feedback.
Volume pot. The position of the preamp, let you adjust everything while you playing, so to reach the volume pot is very useful.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE LEGS
The height adjustable wheels, gives you the chance to change the string height, to fit your style, no matter you play with finger or, bow. You can order it without wheels, but is this case we need the exact size of your current bridge.
The removable upper part, and the height adjuster wheels makes it easy to put it on another bass if you plan to use a new double bass, but willing to keep the Dubbass Pickup System, No problem.
You only need to buy a new removable part, and fit the legs to your new upright bass’s surface.
